Morgan Elizabeth Howard
Morgan was born on September 27, 1994 at Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Va. Morgan was fortunate to be born in a county where early intervention services were among some of the best in the country. She attended Rolling Valley Elementary School and Lake Braddock Secondary School prior to attending a private Catholic high school in Fairfax, Virginia. Morgan graduated with a high school diploma from Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, Va., on June 3, 2013.
While at Paul VI, Morgan lettered all four years in three different sports. She was part of the Paul VI State Champion Special Olympics soccer team, attended homecomings, proms, and sporting events. She was also part of Panther Pals and numerous other clubs at school. During high school, Morgan had internships at Webber’s Pet store, Boyd’s Day care, Paul VI office and the Paul VI Library. Morgan decided to pursue her college degree through the Mason Life program at George Mason University. She attends the university and lives independently on campus in the Liberty Square campus housing with her friends. She chose to pursue a degree with an emphasis on Early Childhood Development. She is an active member of Best Buddies, Book Club and Special Olympics. Morgan has had many different internship opportunities while at George Mason. She has interned for over 10 members of Congress, including Sen. Kristen Gillibrand, Rep. Paul Mitchell and Rep. Seth Moulton. She has also worked at the Arlington Child Development Center, Jewish Community Center and the GMU Child Development Center and the Mason LEAD office.
Morgan will graduate from the Mason Life program and George Mason University on May 4, 2019. After graduation, Morgan plans to pursue a career in an office environment, possibly on Capitol Hill. When Morgan is not at school or at work, she enjoys time with her family, her sisters and her pets. She loves travelling and going to the beach with her family.
