Ask Carmen Houston-Ludlam to describe herself, and she will tell you she is “a very busy girl!”

Carmen has been working at MOD Pizza for over two years. She has been such an excellent worker that her manager recognized her as an “All-Star”, a leadership position which involves training new employees how to do their job. Her goal in life is to become a TV presenter.

She loves fashion, and loves to take pictures of her fashion choices every day to post on Instagram. These are usually accompanied by dance videos, which she films and edits independently, allowing all her followers to get their daily dose of happiness!!

Videography is becoming a real passion of hers, and she is part of the media team at her church to produce on-demand service videos. She is also part of the media teams for GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis and Special Olympics Maryland, doing interviews and then helping edit and produce those videos for publication on the web.

Carmen is very physically active as well. She swims, does competitive Ballroom dance, does cheerleading with Special Olympics, teaches dance fitness, and snowboards. In fact, she is such a good snowboarder, that Blue Ridge Adaptive Snow Sports at Liberty Mountain has asked her to become a Junior instructor. She works with people with all kinds of disabilities, demonstrating correct snowboarding technique.

Travel is another passion of Carmen’s. She is quite the Anglophile, and her sights are currently set on London as her “bucket list” trip. Carmen has attended Special Olympics World Games around the world including Los Angeles, USA, Graz, Austria and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
